FOTHERGILL CARS is run by myself Peter Fothergill.
I started in business in 1986 where I ran a small garage in Kings Way, Bishop Auckland called Fothergill Motors until 1989. I purchased a garage in Hurworth street in Bishop Auckland and traded from there until 1997 under the name Hurworth Motors.
I then sold the premises and moved to Abrahams Ind Est. St Helens Auckland which was called Fothergill Cars. Running for over 20 years as garage premises, working 6/7 days a week and late evenings searching for the right cars to sell.
I decided to trim the Business down and spend more time with the family. So since 2007 I have traded from home in Toft Hill where I have lived for 5 yrs and intend to specialise in low mileage vehicles with maximum 2/3 owners and service history. Sports and diesels are what I tend to go for. All of the cars are full HPI checked professionally valeted including full engine bay and wheels arches. I offer a part exchange facility, finance and warranty.
